Domestic

Fairwinds Electrical is qualified to carry out domestic installation work. We will consider all work, from fitting an extra socket to complete house rewires. We will give you an installation certificate at the end of the work, which states that the work is safe and complies with the 17th edition of the wiring regulations.

If the work is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, you will not need to deal with the local council, we handle all that.

Part P approved

Fairwinds Electrical is registered under the Competent Persons Scheme to carry out Domestic Installation work in accordance with Part P of the Building Regulations. You will find us on the Local Authorities Building Control website.

What is Part P? – Basically; domestic electrical work now falls within the scope of Building Regulations. It is notifiable to the council if it is:

* A new circuit

* Replacement of a consumer unit (fuse box)

* Bathroom

* Kitchen

* Outdoors
